Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your generosity and the spirit you gave to my campaign. There are no words to fully express the depth of my appreciation for all of the time, money and sheer determination each of you contributed in your own way.

Together, we started a movement for change; a more thoughtful approach to the profound problems that beset our criminal justice system. I invite you to join me in keeping this important dialogue alive and to move forward in a positive direction. This is not the end of this meaningful campaign but the beginning of something larger.
